Program Assistant
Part Time

The Program Assistant will provide administrative support to the various programs managed by CCI. Approximately 30-40 hours per week, mostly during normal CCI hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Position may also include weekend and evening hours. This is a temporary position for August through February, 2019.. Compensation of $11 per hour.

Purpose of Position:

Providing administrative support to the various programs managed by CCI

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. This position is expected, with minimal supervision, to provide support and trouble-shooting as needed to the various programs managed by CCI, including the following duties:

  • Data entry
  • Outbound calling
  • Processing contractor invoices
  • Communication with vendors and customers, through email and phone
  • Bulk Mailings
  • Other duties as assigned

Reports To:

Director of Utility Services

Skills and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
  • Excellent English language and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in the absence of supervision; to take responsibility for completing assignments when needed; and to take initiative.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
  • Comfortable learning and utilizing multiple Customer Relationship Management software systems to track customer records
  • Must have valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle when needed for work assignments, and provide proof of automobile liability insurance coverage.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and ascend and descend two flights of stairs daily.

Energy Technician
Part Time

This part-time, temporary position that will last until the end of the summer, will assist with in-home energy assessments at multifamily properties as part of electric utility programs administered by the organization.

Purpose of Position:

Reporting directly to Conservation Consultants, Inc.’s Conservation Services Manager, the successful candidate will assist in-home energy assessments at multifamily properties as part of electric utility programs administered by the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Assist CCI staff with in-home energy assessments for Duquesne Light customers in multifamily properties, for the Duquesne Light Whole House Retrofit Program (WHRP) and/or other similar programs that require in-home assessments.
  • Install energy-saving devices, such as LED light bulbs, smart power strips, etc.
  • Appropriately prepare for each visit, securing needed supplies (light bulbs, etc.), scheduling information, and customer information packets from CCI in advance of visits, and confirming all appointments with resident prior to arrival.
  • Support the lead generation effort for CCI programs with outbound phone calls if needed.
  • Support overall well-being of CCI’s facility and organization through various, as-needed tasks.

Conservation Services Manager

Skills and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly in the line of work.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable using mobile phone technology.
  • Ideal candidate will be proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be reliable and systematic in work habits.
  • Must have the ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
  • Must be attentive to detail.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be respectful and patient in serving the needs of all customers.
  • Must have valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, a dependable automobile and provide proof of automobile liability insurance coverage at required minimums.
  • Must dress appropriately as representative of CCI.
